امین امانینژاد یکی از جانباختگان راه آزادی است که در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ماه با شلیک مستقیم مأموران حکومتی جان خود را فدا کرد. او ابتدا در جریان درگیریها توسط نیروهای امنیتی زخمی شد و بر اساس گزارشهای موثق، در نهایت با شلیک تیر خلاص به قتل رسید. پس از جانباختن، پیکر او به صورت مخفیانه توسط نهادهای حکومتی در روستای میانبر، واقع در حومه صومعهسرای استان گیلان، به خاک سپرده شد. نام امین امانینژاد به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان تاریخ اعتراضات ایران ثبت شده است و یاد او به عنوان بخشی از ایستادگی مردم در برابر سرکوب گرامی داشته میشود.
